Meet Nadina

Assurance enthusiast and outdoorsy adventurer with PwC Bosnia and Herzegovina

Meet Nadina, an Associate with PwC Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Assurance team. She completed her degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sarajevo, focusing on Industrial Engineering and Management. The knowledge she gained at the university provided her with a solid foundation to thrive in the diverse and dynamic working environment at PwC.

"I started working at PwC Bosnia and Herzegovina 3 years ago as part of the local IFS team in Reception and Administration. In that role, I gained experience in how the firm operates and its structure, as well as understanding our key values and how Assurance documentation is managed," she shares.

Through close collaboration with colleagues in the Assurance department, Nadina became intrigued by the services provided to local and international clients, leading her to pursue a career in Assurance. Six months later, she transferred to the Assurance department, where she gained extensive experience and knowledge of audit procedures, clients, and tools used by the team.

"At the beginning of this financial year, I had the opportunity to work in our RTM (Remote Team Members) Team, collaborating with the Assurance department in PwC Czech Republic to provide audit services to clients. As part of the team, I shared my knowledge, gained valuable experience and insights, and learned about how the international market operates and how audits are conducted," she explains. 

Nadina appreciated her visit to Brno; meeting her colleagues in person for the first time and working closely with them daily made her feel like a true part of the team, while also providing her with insights into Czech culture. "While working in the RTM team, I expanded my knowledge, broadened my horizons, and witnessed the value that the firm provides to its employees. It's been the most exciting time of my career at PwC," she shares.

She believes that working in Audit is both exciting and challenging. During busy seasons, maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial. "I believe everyone can maintain it with good time  management, which helps to relax and recharge energy for day-to-day work," she notes. Her team occasionally organizes short team-building events like solving Escape Room challenges and go-karting to unwind during the busy season.

During her free time, Nadina enjoys spending time with her family, visiting local mountains, taking short hikes, and visiting local pubs with friends to organize game nights playing board games.
