Meet Jelena

Meet Jelena, a Senior Associate in Assurance services at PwC Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is responsible for maintaining communication with clients, team spirit, and working atmosphere, as well as for overseeing the auditing process, ensuring that tasks are properly assigned to and completed by the audit team.

Jelena moved from Belgrade to Sarajevo spontaneously, before employment at PwC. Finding a job in Sarajevo was the next step. She decided to work at PwC because of the positive experiences she heard from friends and acquaintances who are currently employed, or worked at PwC, as well as the global reputation that PwC carries.

"Auditing is a profession that constantly keeps pace with world trends and standards," she shares. Jelena believes that it is a field where you can improve yourself as a professional and as a member of the team. Considering the experience she gained over the years both in the industry and audit, she definitely concluded that auditing is a profession in which she feels most fulfilled.

What is the best part of working in PwC? She states that it is all about working in a friendly atmosphere with wonderful colleagues who are always willing to help, access to unlimited sources of knowledge and information, and a hybrid way of working that is ideal for productivity and maintaining work-life balance.

Currently, Jelena is working on local projects that are of great use to her for learning the PwC system and methodology, as well as for getting to know the customs and way of working. The project on which she spent most of my working hours has several types of reports, where she could apply her previously acquired knowledge, but at the same time gain some new skills.

During working days, Jelena usually spends her free time doing pilates, seeing friends and relatives, or watching movies. When it comes to weekends, almost every weekend she goes on trips to get to know Bosnia and Herzegovina better, and its natural beauty, such as waterfalls, rivers, hiking trails.
