Meet Darko

Meet Darko, Assurance Senior Manager with PwC Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Darko joined PwC Bosnia and Herzegovina in December 2014 and recently completed a two-year assignment in Prague, Czech Republic, a pivotal location within PwC's network. As a member of the Assurance team, he concentrated on clients in the Shared Service Centers and Inbound segments, effectively managing portfolios for major international groups listed on the London and New York Stock Exchanges, affiliated with FTSE 250 and Fortune 500.

During his tenure in the mature business environment of the Czech Republic, Darko gained invaluable experience in larger-scale operations and complex accounting transactions. His exceptional performance in auditing a company on the FTSE 250 did not go unnoticed. Darko demonstrated expertise in both back-half and front-half reporting, proficiently managing critical areas such as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) topics, remuneration reporting, and other key aspects of financial oversight.

Darko was grateful for the firm's support and cherished having his family with him during his time in the Czech Republic. Their presence meant a lot to him, making his experience abroad even more fulfilling.

Upon returning to PwC Bosnia and Herzegovina, Darko is sharing his accumulated knowledge and further developing the assurance practice in the region. Additionally, he fostered a strong relationship between PwC Bosnia and Herzegovina and PwC Czech Republic, where several PwC BiH colleagues are working and supporting PwC CZ clients.

Outside of work, Darko enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching football matches, and participating in pub quizzes.
